Decorative paper a notch above the rest: Carta Varese
Traditionally, Carta Varese paper is understood to be the type printed on small sheets of paper (50x70 cm) imprinted with inked wooden pads. The borders of the designs do not demand perfection, the pressure and positioning of the pad and the amount of ink used make each individual sheet unique.
